Najavljena je obrada kultnog debitantskog albuma grupe Velvet Underground. Riječ je o albumu Velvet Underground & Nico, mnogima prepoznatljiv po žutoj banani koja je krasila naslovnicu albuma.
Pjesme s ovog kultnog albuma obradit će zvijezde poput Michaela Stipea, Iggyja Popa, St. Vincenta, Kurta Villea & The Violatorsa, Courtney Barnett, Matta Berningera, Sharon Van Etten, Thurstona Moorea i mnogih drugih.
Album će se zvati I’ll Be Your Mirror: A Tribute to the Velvet Underground & Nico, a izlazi 24. srpnja od strane diskografske kuće Verve.
Album je producirao pokojni Hal Willner, a ovo mu je bio posljednji album na kojem je radio prije smrti 2020. godine.
