Film pod nazivom Lawless, koji režira John Hillcoat, će imati premijeru 29. avgusta, a soundtrack za njega izaći će dan ranije. Glumačku ekipu čine: Tom Hardy, Shia LaBeouf, Guy Pearce, Jessica Chastain, i Gary Oldman. Nick Cave, inače i scenarista ovog ostvarenja je za muzički dio udružio snage sa dugogodišnjim saradnikom Warren Ellisom. Formirali su bend the Bootleggers koji svira country i bluegrass, te samim tim “oponašaju” mjesto u koje je film smješten (ruralna Virginija 1931). Kao gosti na albumu se pojavljuju brojna zanimljiva imena poput: Emmylou Harrisa, Mark Lanegana, Liela Mossa iz The Duke Spirita, te Ralph Stanleya – ikonu bluegrassa.
